I am so excited this year to offer a fabulous lineup of Christmas cards. Get your scrolling finger ready, because there are 27, that’s right, 27 different designs to choose from! I am having a limited time offer to go with them. Sessions must take place no later than October 30 so that you will have your cards back to you for early mailing. Imagine, your friends and family will think you are so organized and efficient, when they receive your card, and not only is it STUNNING and GORGEOUS, but ON TIME or even EARLY!!! With no hassle, stress or worry on your part. Who needs hassle, stress and worry during the holidays??? Not me, so I want to offer an easy holiday card solution for you this year.

The fine print: Session fee of $150 is due at the time of booking to reserve spot, and is non-refundable. All cards are 5×7 folded cards with envelopes, except choice 27, which is a 5×5 trifold. Cards will arrive one week after card and image selections have been made. Cards may be picked up or I will ship to you for an additional fee. All cards are printed on high quality cardstock with linen texture by a professional print lab. I am only doing location sessions for this promotion- no studio sessions will be offered at this time. I will help you choose the perfect location for your session. It is beautiful in NM this time of year!

Yesterday we started our day extra early, in order to get up to GGYR for a work day. 150 people showed up to work on various improvements on the property. Then Kelsey had her first ballet class, and we finished off the day with a photo session for my friend Jen and her sweet family. More pictures to come soon!
Oh yeah, one more piece of news… we are NOT moving to Charleston! While we were pretty excited about the adventure that would be moving cross-country and living near the beaches, we are thrilled to be able to stay here, near our wonderful friends and family! Look for a complete overhaul to this site, probably to be completed later this week. I will no longer use the name SilleShots, but instead, Cindy Ellis Photography. My new web address will be www.cindyellisphotography.com or www.cindyellisphoto.com and you can get to it now using that domain. The current domain will also be active for a few more months, maybe longer. Just in case.
Also look for a HUGE holiday card special! It’s that time of year again. I am finalizing the details, so watch out for that in the next week.

I forgot to add these pictures to my last post. Ever since the day we got him, Riley has had a favorite chair. It’s a little tiny camping chair that sits in our back yard. It’s too small for the kids anymore. I’m not even sure why we still have it. When we first got Riley, he fit nicely in it, and loved to sit in it while out in the back yard.
He’s grown a bit since then. But the chair is still the same size.

It cracks me up the way his butt hangs off the side of the chair. He doesn’t seem to mind though.
Notice how it says “Tot Spot”? Well, I thought it needed a new inscription on it.

Riley is 11 weeks now, and I thought I’d better get some cute puppy pictures before he gets any bigger. He already seems to be about double the size he was when we got him, just one month ago.
Not only is he irresistably cute, but he is a very good model too. A perfect photographer’s puppy. I just put him where I wanted him, and he did his duty and sat there, looking handsome.
This wagon has been hauling kids since the year 2000, when we first produced kids to be hauled. It has sentimental value in our family. Plus it’s fun. The kids like to pull Riley around in it, and he happily obliges them.

Grant’s body pillow. Riley is not picky about which comfy item to relax on.

Isn’t he just so cute?

We are moving to Charleston, SC.
Within the month. Whew! We have really been struggling with this difficult decision, but Jason was offered a really fabulous job, and we couldn’t pass up the opportunity. It will be very difficult to leave our family and friends, but we’ll be back to visit this great town. Count on it!
As far as my photography, I will continue to take pictures. I am planning to work hard on my skills for a while, and eventually start all over with a new business name, a new logo and branding. I am going to take this opportunity to polish up everything and start fresh. I will direct this domain to the new site, so save your bookmarks and check back in a few months:) In the mean time, I will use this blog to post personal pictures of our travels and our new town when we get there. Look for lots of BEACH pictures. Yeah!
While I am very sad about leaving those people who are so special in our lives, I am looking at the positives. It’s going to be a wild ride, and I promise to post here with pictures of it.
It’s been fabulous, Albuquerque! Thanks to the many who have made it so! (you know who you are!!!)
