Here’s a sneak from a session at Old Town, bright and early this morning! We had lots of fun wandering around, and I couldn’t help but wonder, why in the world I haven’t done more sessions in this area. So beautiful, so New Mexico!
E family, I hope you enjoy your peek! There are lots more to come!

I had a super fun opportunity to photograph a gorgeous, sweet 2 week old today, along with his sweet family.
Here is a very quick sneak peek. I will be working on the rest this weekend:)
Thanks Michelle for setting this up and for the use of your fabulous, can’t-miss Pumpkin Patch (no, really, you MUST go and bring your kids some time in October!!!) – and buy pumpkins while you are there!
Of course I had to set up a Fall pumpkin scene.

How much cuteness can you stand? Because this is ridiculous.

An image like this begs to be seen in black and white.

And one shot of his lovely big sis. She was SO much fun! Lots more pics of her to come.

Thank you to my new friend, Holly for the use of her cute pumpkin hat, green blanket and leaves:)

A few weeks ago, I began a series of posts entitled “what to wear”. You can find them under the categories tab. Anyway, my plan was to add some weekly inspiration, just to give some ideas of nice coordinating family ensembles that would unify the family without taking the focus away from what’s important, the people!
So once a week turned into… uh, well, alot less than that. But I’m back with more. This time the color scheme is more subdued than the last one. A little less funky, a little more classic. The idea is the same- coordinating, up to date styles that bring the whole family together. All of the clothing used for these inspirational samples can be found at The Gap or Old Navy.

I got to go to Balloon Fiesta one time, on opening day last Saturday. That same afternoon I came down with a horrible illness that has had me stuck at home since, the symptoms of which match those written on the nyquil bottle perfectly. Nyquil, Dayquil and theraflu have been my constant companions this week. And my poor bored kids, who had to do intermittent school in spite of a sick mom.
I’m happy to say that I am finally over the worst of it, just in time to miss the entire rest of the week at Fiesta. We may go tomorrow if I’m up to it.
Here’s a small picture share. This was all I felt up to editing at this point:)
As the sun rose, so did the balloons.

We all help on the crew for our friends. (Well, I say “all” loosely here. I “help” by snapping pictures the whole time. How can I help when I am busy capturing the whole process??)

Grant mans the fan to blow up the balloon. He’s proud to hold the title of “fan man”.

Kelsey helped spread out the balloon.

I got to ride in the balloon, along with Logan and Kelsey. Amazing! Here’s our crew waving us off.

Leaving Balloon Fiesta Field behind.
