There is so much I could post about. The move, Christmas, the wonderful town of Charleston, the beaches. Then there’s the Holiday Light show, the aquarium, the open air market downtown, the informative and dreamy carriage ride into the historic part of the city. I could talk about my in-laws visiting.
But these pictures of my pup, who is growing up waaay too fast, caught my eye. Just a few short months ago, he was a mere armful. Now he looks like a full grown dog. He is 6 months old now, and Charleston living is treating him well.
Michelle, how much does he resemble his big brother?

I am finishing the packing today. Tomorrow we load the moving truck, and Monday we are officially heading east. I am unable to do any more photo sessions here in Albuquerque. I’ll have my camera and laptop, but the big computer is taking a ride on the truck. I won’t see it again until Dec.3rd, so no photo editing for me:)
I will come back later and post some of my favorite photos from Albuquerque and the southwest. I will also try to document our trip east if I have internet in the hotels we stay at along the way. Then I will post some beach pictures, because that will be our first stop when we get to Charleston!

that I chose pictures from my recent trip to the Botanic Garden for my monthly computer desktop calendar?
I just think it’s so cool that I can put a new desktop up every month and see new favorite pictures. You can get this free desktop here. It’s easy to use, just put your pictures behind the frames and save it to your desktop.

Today I decided to break away from my comfort zone a bit, in terms of natural lighting. I always tell people I can do outdoor shoots either mid morning or late afternoon, for lighting purposes. Never the dreaded mid day! Well, today we arrived at the Botanic Garden at exactly noon. Mid day. High noon, in full sun. My worst nightmare, photographically speaking. I came armed and ready. I had with me 1 camera, 2 lenses, 3 nicely dressed kids, and a reflector.
Here’s what I came up with.

I didn’t notice this till I opened the image to edit. I had no idea he posed like this. I assure you it was all in fun. No chicks were flicked in the making of this image:)

I have restructured my pricing. The new pricing is on my website, however the shopping cart will not change until April 1st. If you still need to place an order, you will be under the old pricing. If you have been thinking about booking a session, go ahead and do it now! I will honor the old prices for any sessions booked before April 1st, even if they are not completed until after that!
Oh, and I gave the website a little facelift. New front page. It’s been interesting- I’ve learned alot about coding and html just by trial and error. It’s definitely not something I’d want to do full time!

I am so excited to be offering beautiful, custom photo jewelry. What better way to show off your loved ones than on the stylish jewelry you wear every day? It makes a great gift, too (think Mother’s Day… it’s never too early to start thinking about it, ha!)
Check out the gallery section of my website for more details… there is a great charm bracelet that would be perfect for grandma- it holds from 6 to 8 photo charms.
